Yoga Pose Wood Figurines
The Yoga Pose Wood Figurines is made from rasin, looking like wood and depicts a woman in a sitting in the Utkatasana position, legs crossed with her arms to the sky. This piece is ideal for bringing serenity to your desk or yoga space. Lithe and limber, an abstracted figure practices a variation of the advanced yoga position .Carves the figure from richly grained suar wood, its anonymous features representing all humankind. The elegant sculpture exalts the strong, healthy body. The fluid curves of her youthful body are portrayed in a figurative style, heightened by the warm glow of the suar wood. The polished grain enhances the cool line of a beautiful signature piece. Steeped in the rich texture of suar wood, lithe muscles flex in a yoga pose. Known as the "Right Angle," it is sometimes called the "Downward Facing Dog." Touching her hands to the floor, a gymnast bends backward in an incredibly graceful execution of the yoga "upward bow pose," backbend," or "wheel." Her long braid cascades to the floor in this exquisite sculpture by Wayan Rendah. The exercise is thought to energize and strengthen the arms, legs, abdomen and spine.
